<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />May 10, 1983 <br /> <br />Counci1member Benke asked the City Engineer <br />what the reason was for not being able to <br />negotiate the easement. <br /> <br />The City Engineer responded that there had been <br />a breakdown in the negotiations and this would <br />provide leverage in this negotiation process. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Director of Community Development reviewed <br />the staff report regarding landscape design <br />services. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to authorize <br />the Development District Administrator to execute <br />a consultant services contract with Damon Farber <br />Associates, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $900. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Director of Community Development reviewed <br />the staff report regarding an application for <br />a minor subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY <br />OF NEW BRIGHTON (Generally East of Old Hwy. 8 and <br />South of 4th Street N.W. extended). <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The City Engineer reviewed the staff report <br />regarding plan approval for concrete street repair <br />for Project #83-8. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to approve <br />the resolution approving plans and specifications <br />and authorizing the advertisement for bids for <br />Project #83-8, the repair of concrete streets in <br />the Poppyseed Drive/Rockstone Lane area and Stinson <br />Boulevard.
