<br />City of New Brighton <br />May 24, 1983 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to <br />direct staff to prepare a resolution indicating <br />Council support for the carbon filtration system <br />and to send the resolution to the MPCA and Department <br />of Health and other affected parties. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The City Council decided to consider the <br />selection of the personnel consultant at <br />the end of the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Janecek to: <br /> <br />1. Adopt a RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECU- <br />TION OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT. <br /> <br />2. To authorize the preparation of plans <br />and specifications for City Well #12. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. To authorize staff to negotiate terms <br />of an agreement with the engineering firm <br />of Rieke, Carrol & Muller for engineering <br />services for a pumphouse/iron removal faci- <br />lity for Well #12 and <br /> <br />4.
