<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />July 12, 1983 <br />page Two <br /> <br />Mr. Bromander asked for the Council's permission <br />to work with staff to prepare a plan and return <br />to present it to the Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Janecek stated that the site had <br />real possibilities and should be looked at to see <br />if it is a workable solution to the site problem. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Schmidt to direct staff <br />to work with the Historical Society and Mr. Bromander <br />to determine the feasibility of using the maintenance <br />building property, east of the driveway adjacent to <br />the railroad tracks, as a permanent location for the <br />depoteand to include the City Attorney in the discussions <br />to determine the legalities involved. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />There were no additions to the staff report. <br /> <br />Minor Subdivision <br />ERA Pinetree Realty <br />Report #83-180 <br />RESOLUTION #83-84 <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY <br />OF NEW BRIGHTON (generally east of 12th Avenue N.W. <br />and North of 13th Street N.W.) SUBJECT TO THE <br />FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. That a grading and drainage plan be submitted <br />by the applicant for the approval by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />2. That the existing structures on the proposed <br />subdivision be removed. <br /> <br />3. That staff be directed to not execute the signing <br />of the deeds until such time as conditions #1 and <br />#2 have been met. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Director of Park and Recreation stated he <br />had no comments to add to the staff report. <br /> <br />Purchase of play- <br />ground Equipment <br />Meadow Wood Park <br />Report #83-178 <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus questioned whether the money to <br />be used for this equipment was specified in <br />the C.I.P. for any particular park. <br /> <br />The Director of Park and Recreation stated that <br />they was no specified designation of the money <br />as to site. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist to authorize <br />the purchase of a 23 CA play structure from Earl F. <br />Anderson, Inc. for $8,415 and to fund the purchase <br />
