In view of the <br />costs of the proposals we must consider the expense. <br />He further stated that the City must control liquor <br />as it was owed to the community, and that the Liquor <br />Operation must be given a high priority for the City <br />Manager. He stated that a specific time frame to see <br />a turnaround must be set or else some of the options <br />in the proposals would have to be addressed. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to reject all <br />consultant proposals for further study of the liquor <br />operation. To direct staff to take action to: 1) On <br />the short term to improve profits so that we are profit- <br />able by year end and 2) To prepare a long term plan <br />to maintain and improve profitability.
