<br />'- <br /> <br />, <br />/ <br /> <br />(c) ITo increase awareness of municipal channel 16 offerings to New <br />Brighton residents through: <br /> <br />(i) marketing municipal channel programming; and <br />(ii) increasing awareness of the municipal channel medium as <br />a way to get information to viewers. <br /> <br />--' <br /> <br />(d) To study, evaluate and report to the council on such other <br />matters relating to cable television as may be referred to it by the council. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-140.4. Composition and Appointment. The committee shall be <br />composed of not more than seven members appointed by a majority of the council. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-140.5. Terms of Office. Members of the committee shall serve two <br />year terms. The expiration date of each of the terms shall be December 31 of the <br />year indicated below: The terms of three (3) of the initial committee members shall <br />expire in 1993; the terms of four (4) of the initial committee members shall expire in <br />1994; and thereafter for two year terms. Upon the expiration of a term of office, a <br />member shall continue to serve until the member's successor is appointed and <br />qualifies. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-140.6. Removal. Any member of the cable advisory committee may <br />be removed from office by a four-fifths (4/5) vote of the city council. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-140.7. Filling Vacancies. Vacancies occurring in the membership <br />of the cable advisory committee shall be filled by the council for the unexpired <br />portion of the term. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-140.8. Compensation. The members of the cable advisory <br />committee shall serve without compensation. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-140.9. Council Representation and Organization. The council may <br />appoint one of its members as an ex officio member of the committee for a term of one <br />year. This member will have full rights of discussion, but will not be a voting <br />member of the committee. The council may also, at its discretion, appoint other ex <br />officio members. The committee shall elect a chairperson from among its appointed <br />members for a one-year term and may create and fill such offices as it may <br />determine. The committee shall hold regular meetings.
