<br />" ;, <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ---2.1Q. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING NEW BRIGHTON <br />CITY CODE CHAPTER 11, ARTICLES I AND II, <br />RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF HAULERS OF <br />GARBAGE, REFUSE, RECYCLABLES AND YARD WASTE <br /> <br />THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. New Brighton City Code Section 11-1 is amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 11-1. Definitions. <br /> <br />For the purposes of this Chapter, the following words and phrases <br />sft8:H: have the meafthlgs relatively ascribed to them following meanings: <br /> <br />Approved: Acceptable to the health authority followiRg hb upon a <br />determination as to compliance with established public health practices. <br /> <br />Collection Days: Effective May 1, 1991: North of 694 - Monday; South of <br />694 - Tuesday. <br /> <br />Commercial Establishment: Any premises where an institutional <br />com mercial or industrial enterprise of any kind is carried on, including <br />restaurants and clubs, churches, and schools. <br /> <br />Garbage: All l'1:ltfCsdblc orgaftie waste matcria13, iRel1:laiftg the caRs, <br />contaiRel'3 or wl"al'pcr3 wasted along with stich materia13. Garbage, tinder <br />this ddinitien, is tlftderstoed te incltlde Stich 60fftestie aHa/or commercial <br />waste pro6uets as: aftimal cxereta or Cal"Ca3SeS aft8 residues obtaiRca iR the <br />processing; preparatioR, coft3umptioR, display, sale or storage of meat, fish, <br />fowl, fl'tlit, -.regetables, grain, ~ Putrescible animal and vegetable waste, <br />includinlt that resultinlt from the handlinlt, preparation, cookinlt or <br />consumption of food. <br /> <br />Hauler: A collector or transporter of garbage, refuse, recyclable materials, <br />or yard waste. <br /> <br />Health Authority: The municipal public health sanitarian or ftis the <br />authorized representative of the sanitarian. <br /> <br />License: A license issued in accordance with this chapter. <br /> <br />Multiple Dwelling: Anv building used for residential purposes consistinlt of <br />three or more residential units with individual kitchen facilities for each. <br />
