<br />. <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />j) Stacking lanes. Commercial uses containing drive-in or drive-up <br />facilities shall provide a stacking area for vehicles on the site. A <br />minimum of six (6) spaces per lane for stacking is required in addition <br />to the number of required parking spaces. The stacking lane shall be a <br />minimum of twelve (12) feet wide. The vehicle stacking area shall not <br />extend beyond the street right-of-way line and shall be delineated so that <br />the vehicles waiting in line will not interfere with the primary driving <br />and parking facilities on site. Any pedestrian walkway that is adjacent <br />to or crosses the stacking lane must be marked and clearly indicated with <br />signage or painted crosswalk. <br /> <br />Section 11-030. MINIMUM NUMBER OF OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES REQUIRED. <br /> <br />a) Computing Requirements. In computing the number of parking or loading <br />spaces required the following rules shall govern: <br /> <br />1. Floor Space shall mean the gross floor area of the speci fi c use <br />calculated on the basis of the exterior floor area dimensions of the <br />buildings, structure or use, multiplied by the number of floors, minus <br />ten percent (10%). " <br /> <br />2. When determining the number of off-street parking spaces, fractional <br />results of one-half (1/2) or more shall require another space. <br /> <br />3. Except as provided for under joint parking and shopping centers, if <br />a structure contains two (2) or more types of use, the area of each. <br />use shall be calculated separately in determining the total number <br />of off-street parking stalls required. <br /> <br />b) Handicapped Parking. For all uses where automobile parking spaces are <br />provided except single and two family dwellings, at least one space per <br />fifty (50) spaces or faction thereof, shall be provided for the- use of the <br />handi capped, and shall be i denti fi ed for such use in accordance with <br />Ordinance No. 384 (Code Section 29-38 through 29-30). Such parking shall <br />be located as close as practicable to a building entrance providing <br />adequate ingress for the handicapped into the main lobby or corridor of <br />the building. A continuous, permanently designated pathway at grade shall <br />be provided linking the parking spaces to the bUilding entrance.
