All applications for an amusement center license shall be referred to the Chief of Police, and to such other City departments as deemed necessary, for verification and investigation of the facts set forth in the application. The Chief of Police shall make a written recommendation to the City Council. The City Council may order and conduct such additional investigation as i shall deem necessary. SECTION 15-390. Investigation Fees. a. At the time of each original applicatio for a license required by this Article, the applicant shall pay in full an investigating fee. For a single natural person, the investigating fee shall be s eve n ty - f i ve ($ 7 5 . 00). For a par t n e r- ship, the investigating fee shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). For a corporation or other association the investigating fee shall be three hundred dollars ($300,00). No investiga tin9 fee shall be refunded. b. At any time that an additional investig - tion is required because of change in the ownership or control of a corpora- tion or becuase of an enlargement, alteration. or extension of premises previously licensed, the licensee shall pay an additional investigating fee in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00). SECTION 15-395. Inspection. Each amusement center licensed under this Article shall be inspected by the Police Department. SECTION 15-400. Display of License. The license shall be posted permanently and consoicuously at the location of the amusethentcenterJ ',:; ":~ i'l" r:::: ,\', SECTION 15-405. Restrictions. a. No amusement center nor any coin- operated musical or other device therei shall be operated so as to constitute a public nuisance. b. It shall be the responsibility of the licensee to maintain order on the licensed premises at all times. 'i i ~ c. Fire Hazards. It shall be the re- sponsibility of the licensee to see tha the licensed premise does not become overcrowded so as to constitute a hazard to the health or safety of persons therein. The Fire Marshall shall de~ signate and post the maximum number of persons to be permitted on the licensed premises.
