Investigation required. <br /> <br />All applications for an amusement center <br />license shall be referred to the Chief of <br />Police, and to such other City departments <br />as deemed necessary, for verification and <br />investigation of the facts set forth in <br />the application. The Chief of Police shall <br />make a written recommendation to the City <br />Council. The City Council may order and <br />conduct such additional investigation as i <br />shall deem necessary. <br /> <br />SECTION 15-390. Investigation Fees. <br /> <br />a. At the time of each original applicatio <br />for a license required by this Article, <br />the applicant shall pay in full an <br />investigating fee. For a single natural <br />person, the investigating fee shall be <br />s eve n ty - f i ve ($ 7 5 . 00). For a par t n e r- <br />ship, the investigating fee shall be <br />one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). <br />For a corporation or other association <br />the investigating fee shall be three <br />hundred dollars ($300,00). No investiga <br />tin9 fee shall be refunded. <br /> <br />b. At any time that an additional investig - <br />tion is required because of change in <br />the ownership or control of a corpora- <br />tion or becuase of an enlargement, <br />alteration. or extension of premises <br />previously licensed, the licensee shall <br />pay an additional investigating fee in <br />the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00). <br /> <br />SECTION 15-395. Inspection. <br /> <br />Each amusement center licensed under this <br />Article shall be inspected by the Police <br />Department. <br /> <br />SECTION 15-400. Display of License. <br /> <br />The license shall be posted permanently and <br />consoicuously at the location of the <br />amusethentcenterJ ',:; ":~ i'l" r:::: ,\', <br /> <br />SECTION 15-405. Restrictions. <br /> <br />a. No amusement center nor any coin- <br />operated musical or other device therei <br />shall be operated so as to constitute a <br />public nuisance. <br /> <br />b. It shall be the responsibility of the <br />licensee to maintain order on the <br />licensed premises at all times. <br /> <br />'i <br />i ~ <br /> <br />c. Fire Hazards. It shall be the re- <br />sponsibility of the licensee to see tha <br />the licensed premise does not become <br />overcrowded so as to constitute a hazard <br />to the health or safety of persons <br />therein. The Fire Marshall shall de~ <br />signate and post the maximum number of <br />persons to be permitted on the licensed <br />premises. <br />
