Once eligibility is determined, then the sick leave used shall be reinstated to the effective date of the workers' compensation insurance. The sick leave used shall be reinstated in accordance with the terms of subsection (f). ISection 21-69. Ex~ense Reimbursement : I iIt is the policy of the City to reimburse employees, elected, andl iappointed officials for expenses incurred in the performance of !duties as an authorized representative of the City and to estab- ilish a uniform method for processing and controlling such reim- ibursement. The City Manager may, within budgetary limitation and in accordance with applicable state law, authorize reimbursement to employees of expenses which meet the requirements of this poli- icy. 'j : (a) Travel Ex,Penses Tr~vel expenses to meetings, conferences, or other City business will be reimbursed in accordance with the guidelines as established in the Administrative Code. ( 1) Travel outside of the seven county metro area shall be approved in advance by the City Manager for all employ- ees; by the City Council for the City Manager and all elected officials.
