No bingo occasion shall be conducted except by an eligible organization which has secured a license in accordance with Section 802. Subd. 2. License applications. Application for a bingo license shall be made to the City Clerk on a form provided by the Clerk. Such application shall include the following information: a. Kame of organization b. Name of Bingo Manager c. The period of time the organization has been in existance and the number of members in the organization. d. Whether the license is Class I or Class II e. If Class II the dates of the Bingo Occasions. f. The address and nature of pr..em-mses to be used g. If the premises are leased, a copy of the lease agreement h. Reports required in Section 802:35, Subd. 2 I i ,I I Subd. 3. Application Review. Applications shall be reviewed by the Police Department, Fire Department, and Community Development Department with those departments reports provided to the Council with ~he application. Subd. 4. Council Approval. A license appl~cation shall be acted upoqby the Council no sooner than 30dgys and no later than 180 days after the date of application. If a license is approved, it shall be conditioned on the bingo manager having a fidelity bond in the sum of $10,000 in favor of the organization conditioned on the faithful perfor.rnance of his or her duties. The Council may waive the bond requirement by including a waiver provision in the bingo license issued to an organization, provided that a license containing such a provision shall be granted only by a unanimous vote. Subd. 5. License Classes. Bingo licenses shall be issued in two classes. a. Class I. Annual license for up to 104 bingo occasions in a year. b. Class II. Occasional license for up to five (5) bingo occasions in a year. Subd. 6. License Duration. A license shall be valid for twelve (12) calendar months from the date of issuance or for t e specific occasion if a Class II license is granted. Subd. 7. License Fee.
