Licenses <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Licenses Required. No bingo occasion shall be <br />conducted except by an eligible organization which has <br />secured a license in accordance with Section 802. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. License applications. Application for a bingo <br />license shall be made to the City Clerk on a form provided by <br />the Clerk. Such application shall include the following <br />information: <br /> <br />a. Kame of organization <br />b. Name of Bingo Manager <br />c. The period of time the organization has been in <br />existance and the number of members in the organization. <br />d. Whether the license is Class I or Class II <br />e. If Class II the dates of the Bingo Occasions. <br />f. The address and nature of pr..em-mses to be used <br />g. If the premises are leased, a copy of the lease <br />agreement <br />h. Reports required in Section 802:35, Subd. 2 <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />,I <br />I <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Application Review. Applications shall be reviewed <br />by the Police Department, Fire Department, and Community <br />Development Department with those departments reports provided <br />to the Council with ~he application. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. Council Approval. A license appl~cation shall be <br />acted upoqby the Council no sooner than 30dgys and no <br />later than 180 days after the date of application. If a <br />license is approved, it shall be conditioned on the bingo <br />manager having a fidelity bond in the sum of $10,000 in favor <br />of the organization conditioned on the faithful perfor.rnance of <br />his or her duties. The Council may waive the bond requirement <br />by including a waiver provision in the bingo license issued to <br />an organization, provided that a license containing such a <br />provision shall be granted only by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Subd. 5. License Classes. Bingo licenses shall be issued in <br />two classes. <br /> <br />a. Class I. Annual license for up to 104 bingo occasions <br />in a year. <br />b. Class II. Occasional license for up to five (5) bingo <br />occasions in a year. <br /> <br />Subd. 6. License Duration. A license shall be valid for <br />twelve (12) calendar months from the date of issuance or for t e <br />specific occasion if a Class II license is granted. <br /> <br />Subd. 7. License Fee.
