Extermination shall mean the control and elimination of <br />insects, rodents, or other pests by eliminating their harborage <br />places~ by removing or making inaccessible materials that may serv <br />as their feed~ by poison spraying, fumigating, trapping, or by <br />another recognized and legal pest elimination method. <br /> <br />j. Family. A group of one or more persons occupying a <br />premises and living as a single housekeeping unit as distinguished <br />from a group occupying a boarding house, lodging house, hotel or <br />mote 1. <br /> <br />k. Grade shall mean the surface of the ground or surface <br />ground after completion of any change in contour. <br /> <br />1. Infestation shall mean the presence, within,or continguou <br />to a multiple dwelling, dwelling unit, rooming house, rooming unit, <br />or premises, of insects, rodents, vermin, or other pests. <br /> <br />o. Multiple Dwelling. A building or portion thereof <br />containing three (3) or more dwelling units. <br /> <br />p. Occupant shall mean any person over one year of age livin <br />and sleeping in a dwelling unit or having actual possession of sai <br />dwelling or rooming unit. <br /> <br /> <br />q. Operator shall mean any person who has charge, care or <br />control of a multiple residence or rooming house, in which dwellin <br />units or rooming units are let or offered for occupancy. <br /> <br />r. Owner shall mean owner or owners of the freehold of the <br />premises or lessor estate therein, a mortgagor or vendee in <br />possession, assignee of rents , receiver, executor, trustee, lesse , <br />other,persun, firm or corporation, in control of a building, <br />including their managers and agents. <br /> <br />s. Qpenable Area shall mean that part of a window or door <br />which is available for unobstructed ventilation and which opens <br />directly to the outdoors. <br /> <br />t.
