Before any license may be <br />issued, tbe applicant shall pay to the Village Clerk a license fee <br />of $25.00, which fee shall accompany the application. No license <br />issued hereunder shall be for a longer period than on~ year~ <br />and all licenses shall expire on the 31st day of March of each <br />year. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Equipment, Cleanliness. <br /> <br />Each licensed collector shall provide a covered tank or <br />wagon, so constructed that the contents will not leak or spill <br />therefrom, in which all garbage collected by him shall be conveyed <br />to the place designated in hia application. The wagon or <br />conveyance used shall be kept clean and free from Offensive odors <br />arid shall not be allowed to stand in any street, alley or public <br />place longer than is reasonably necessary to collect garbage or <br />rubbish. <br /> <br />Section 840:15 Separability. <br /> <br /> <br />If any section, subsection, group, phrase, sentence, or <br />portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or <br />unconstitutional, such portions shall be deemed a separate <br />distinct and independent provision and sU9h holding shall not <br />affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. <br /> <br />Section 840~20 Penalty <br /> <br />Any person violating any of the provisipns of this ordinance, <br />shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanorl and subject <br />to a fine of not exceeding $300 and imprisonment':fb r a period of <br />not exceeding 90 days. <br /> <br />Section 840:25 Compliance <br /> <br />AlL existing premises which generate garbageand/or rubbish f r <br />s'ubsequent collection shall comply with the prQvisions of this <br />ordinance within 90 days' of the effective date of this ordinance~; <br /> <br />Section 840:30 Effective Date <br /> <br />The effective date of this ordinance shall he <br /> <br />May 18, 1972 <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />May <br /> <br />1972. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />f.,.n,.. ..........Q..... . <br />, ..
