<br />URES, DRIVEWAYS, SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS, SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS, ,
<br />WELL DRILLING AND WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS, ELECTRIC ,WIRING, HEATING i
<br />PLANTS, GAS AND GAS APPLIANCES, GAS BURNERS AND EQUIPMENT, INCIN- I
<br />ERA-TORS, PLUMBING, PLASTERING, EXCAVATIONS, LOT GRADING, CEMENT ;
<br />II AND BRICK ,LAYING , ROOFING, WRECKING AND MOVING OF BUILDINGS, !
<br />I ERECTED, CONSTRUCTED, BUILT, ALTERED, REPAIRED, INSTALLED, PERFO
<br />AND MAINTAINED IN THE VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON AND PROVIDING FOR
<br />I LICENSES, PERMITS, BONDS AND FEES FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTION 0
<br />I PROPERTY AGAINST FIRE AND FOR SECURING HEALTHFUL"SAFE AND SANITA Y
<br />I CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT FOR THE OCCUPANTS OF BUILDINGS USED FO
<br />II, HUMAN HABITATION OR OTHERWISE, AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR
<br />VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 22, 32, 33, 37 I,
<br />'I and 54 AND AMENDMENTS THERETO", AS AMENDED.

<br />11 The Village Council of the Village of New Brighton does
<br />
<br />ordain:
<br />
<br />
<br />SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 56, commonly known as the
<br />
<br />"Building Code", as amended, be amended, by adding the following
<br />
<br />to Section 3-6:
<br />
<br />3-6a. Where such plans and specifications indicate that the
<br />
<br />proposed work includes connections to sanitary sewer or watermain,
<br />such application for a building permit shall be accompanied by a I
<br />$200.00 cash deposit as a guaranty to the Vill.ge that all restor~
<br />ation work will be completed and Village facilities left in un-
<br />damaged condition.
<br />The Superintendent of Maintenance shall verify the
<br />
<br />I location of watermain and sanitary sewer connections before any
<br />

<br />
<br />excavation or grading shall be permitted on the premises.
<br />
<br />Upon completion of the backfilling of utility trenchejs

<br />and all landscape grading, the Maintenance Superintendent, upon
<br />

<br />request, shall make a final inspection to ascertain that the sewe~
<br />
<br />and water connections have been installed in accordance with the
<br />
<br />i
<br />I
<br />I
<br />street adjace4t
<br />Upon such '
<br />
<br />appropriate Village Ordinances and the curb stop is visible, un-
<br />!I damaged and in working condition: that the curb and
<br />
<br />Ii to said property are undamaged and clean of debris.

<br />inspection and approval the $200.00 deposit shall be refunded.
