COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />iNI <br />Pursuant to due call and published and mailed notice thereof, a <br />special meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held at 7;00 p.m., <br />January 11, 1977 in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 803 <br />5th Avenue N.W., New Brighton, Minnesota <br />Present: Mayor Gayle C. Bromander, Councilmen Gene Fisher, <br />Paul Hardt, Jim Senden, Fritz t,;,erdouschegg <br />Also Thomas F. Lewcock, City Manager; Vernon C. Pederson, <br />Present: Clerk; Donald L. Lais, City Attorney; James J. Kleinschmidt:. <br />Director of Public Works. <br />Mayor Bromander made opening remarks indicating the purpose <br />of the meeting was to review 1977 public improvements noting <br />that this meeting was required because of a publication error. <br />He added that this meeting was not an assessment hearing <br />and the projects would be assessed at a later date after a <br />hearing for that purpose was called. <br />The City Attorney declared all hearings were properly called. <br />He described the proposed assessment methoA for the <br />street overlay improvements noting that this proposed <br />method was now under review by the Council for possible <br />alteration. <br />Improvement 77-4 <br />Location: Continental Drive -County Road D to Rolls Road <br />Imperial Lane - entire street <br />Mounds Avenue _ Silver Lake Road to Long Lake Road <br />Redwood Lane - 5th Street NW to north end <br />16th Street NW -Silver Lake Road to Stinson Blvd. <br />17th Street NW - 20th Avenue NW to 29th Ave. NW <br />20th Ave NW - 17th Street NW to Rice Creek Road <br />19th Ave. NW - 14th Street NW to 16th Street NW <br />Impr. By: Bituminous Overlays on existing streets <br />Proposed <br />Assessable All land abutting above streets <br />Area: <br />Est.
