<br /> I <br /> " '" <br /> r -'to <br /> l , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1600 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> , RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING MAYOR, MANAGER AND <br /> ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND DOCUMENTS RELATING <br /> TO UNLAWFUL DETAINER PROCEEDINGS AGAINST PERSONS OCCUPYING PART <br /> OF PARK LANDS IN VERMONT PARK <br /> WHEREAS the City of New Brighton did acquire lands for park <br /> and open space purposes which is described as follows: <br /> Subject to road, and except the South 198 feet and except <br /> the East 95 feet of the North 190 feet of the West 1/2 of <br /> the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the <br /> Northwest Quarter (W~ of SW\ of NW\ of NW\) of Section 33, <br /> Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, and <br /> WHEREAS Mr. and Mrs. Archie Erickson are in possession of <br /> 'and occupy a part of this land without legal claim of right, but <br /> under an honest belief of right, and <br /> WHEREAS it appears fair and reasonable to grant temporary <br /> permiSsi6n_ to allow Mr. and Mrs. Erickson to use the City owned <br /> land they have fenced in and gardened, on certain terms and <br /> conditions <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Mayor, Manager and <br /> Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br /> attached settlement agreement and to execute aILdocuments and <br /> do all things necessary to effectuate said agreement. <br /> Adopted this 26th day of August 1975 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> f\ Thomas F.
