<br />i I <br />: I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 02-022 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF <br />NEW BRIGHTON'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND FUTURE LAND USE MAP. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application has been made by the City of New Brighton to amend the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan to facilitate the uses proposed for a new Public Safety Facility. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br /> <br />1. An application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment was filed with the City of New Brighton <br />on January 25, 2002. <br /> <br />2. The Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing on <br />Febmary 19,2002, and all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />The Planning Commission considered the plans and unanimously recommended approval <br />subject to one condition (Vote: 6-0) <br /> <br />3. The City Council considered the Planning Commission's recommendation and voted on <br />February 26, 2002 to approve the applications. <br /> <br />Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to I <br />the application to amend the Plan: <br /> <br />1. The subject site is approximently 2.2 acres and is located south of 8th Street NW and <br />between Old Highway 8 and 4th Avenue NW on the following parcels: <br /> <br />Property <br />Identification <br />Number (PIN) <br />293023110037 current Fire Station <br />293023110026 City Hall overflow parking lot <br />293023110027 Single family home <br />293023110028 Single family home <br />293023110029 Single family home <br />293023110030 Single family home <br />293023110095 Single family home <br />293023110096 Single family home <br />293023110097 Single family home <br /> <br />2. The current Fire Station site is designated as Public & Quasi-Public. <br /> <br />3.
