<br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Public Safety Commission <br />April 8, 2019 City Hall <br />Council Chambers 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Hollimon. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Robert Boyd, William Cook, Amina Ghouse, Geoff Hollimon, <br />Tanya Kessler, Stephanie Kitzhaber, Stephanie Malone, and Ache Wakai. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Karen Wagner. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Tony Paetznick, City Clerk Terri Spangrud, Council Member Paul <br />Jacobsen and Dave Matteson (Allina Health). <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Malone, seconded by Kessler to approve the April 8, 2019 agenda as presented. <br />Motion carried 8-0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Kessler, seconded by Boyd to approve the March 11, 2019 minutes as presented. <br />Motion carried 8-0. <br /> <br />V. Presentations and Public Hearings <br /> <br />Director Paetznick introduced the newly appointed members to the Public Safety Commission <br />Stephanie Kitzhaber and Ache Wakai to the group. <br /> <br />A. Commission Member Expectations – City Clerk Terri Spangrud <br /> <br />City Clerk Terri Spangrud stated on a yearly basis, staff strives to hold training sessions with <br />each of the City’s Commissions. This training is especially important for new <br />commissioners, but also acts as a great refresher for returning members. She provided each <br />commissioner with the City’s latest “Commissioner Handbook,” and covered the following <br />topics during a presentation: <br /> <br />a) Roles and Responsibilities <br />b) Council Expectations
