<br />~/ <br /> <br />.,.~ <br />, <br /> <br />J' <br />-' <br /> <br />---- <br /> <br />~",:ojIr: <br /> <br />-II <br />_,,_or <br />I <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />--0 <br /> <br />ji <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />QO-4 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WAGE RANGES AND INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTIONS FOR NON-UNION PERSONNEL, TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT, <br />AND COMPARABLE WORTH SALARY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wage ranges for the Pay Plan for non-union <br />personnel must be set annually by Council resolutioni and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wage ranges have been reviewed and are <br />attached to this Resolution as Attachment A and Bi <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these wage ranges set compensation in <br />accordance with the policy to compensate personnel at the <br />Stanton meani and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it also is proposed that the City continue to <br />make a contribution toward the cost of employee health <br />insurancei and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City policy provides that an employee shall be <br />reimbursed for use of their personal vehicle when used to <br />conduct City business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has prepared a Comparable Worth Study <br />as required by the State, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of New Brighton that: <br /> <br />1. The 1990 wage ranges shall be specified in <br />Attachments A and 8. <br /> <br />2. The City shall make a contribution of $215 <br />towards the cost of family health insurance and <br />shall pay the entire premium for single health <br />insurancei and, this amount shall be increased to <br />the maximum determined for employees represented by <br />organized bargaining units. Any increase required <br />by this section shall be retroactive to January 1, <br />1990 and shall not require further Council action. <br /> <br /> <br />3. The City's reimbursement rate for use of a personal <br />vehicle used to conduct City business shall be <br />consistent with the IRS maximum reimbursement rate <br />per mile. The current maximum is $.26 per mile. <br /> <br />" <br />i <br /> <br />4. Monthly salaried, full-time regular employees who <br />do not receive overtime pay may receive an amount <br />up to 5% of annual salary to compensate for <br />overtime/performance. This section is to be <br />administered at the discretion of the City Manager. <br /> <br />5.
