<br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Monday, November 10, 1997, <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein, and Samuelson. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Matthew Fulton, City Manager <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Mayor Benke welcomed Councilmember of the Month Dan Vroman. <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Larson, to APPROVE THE COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Rebelein, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE OCTOBER 28, 1997, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />I 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Park, Recreation, and <br />Environmental Commission - August 6, 1997 and September 3, 1997 <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT <br />THE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A $3,000 DONATION FROM LAKE REGION <br />HOCKEY ASSOCIATION WHICH WILL BE USED FOR TEEN PROGRAMS AT <br />THE FAMILY SERVICE CENTER AND HEALTHY YOUTH PROGRAMS <br />SPONSORED BY CHRIST THE KING CHURCH. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Consent A~enda <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Rebelein, to APPROVE THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA ITEMS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSOLIDATED VOUCHERS: 076369-076526 FOR A GRAND TOTAL <br />OF $236,072.16. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL TO PURCHASE TWO SINGLE AXLE <br />DUMP TRUCKS WITH SNOW EQUIPMENT UNDER THE MNDOT <br />STATE BID IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,055.64 PER TRUCK. <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Special Order of <br />Business <br /> <br />Lake Region Hockey <br />Donation <br />Report 97-239 <br />Resolution 97-80 <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Vouchers <br />Report 97-240 <br /> <br />Dump Truck Purchase <br />Report 97-241 <br />
