<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, <br />October 12, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Maurie Anderson, Park and Recreation Director <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />Barbara Jeanetta, Acting City Manager <br />Jim Thomson, Acting City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Council Aaenda <br /> <br />The Citizen Study Committee's recommendation for municipal election year <br />issues was added to the Special Order of Business agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Larson, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Larson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE AMENDED SEPTEMBER 28, 1993, COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes. 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Economic <br />Development Commission - September 14, 1993; and the Citizen Study <br />Commission - May 26, 1993. <br /> <br />Scecial Order of Business <br /> <br />Council deferred Report 93~278, Depot Parking Lot Costs, until a <br />representative from the Historical Society is present. <br /> <br />Mayor Benke PROCLAIMED THE MONTH OF OCTOBER.. 1993..
