<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Monday, June <br />7, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunderman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Maurie Anderson, Park and Recreation Director <br />David Childs, City Manager <br />Jill Hanson, Economic Development Specialist <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />City Manager David Childs added an issue relating to the Oak Grove Landfill <br />to the Council Business Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Rebelein, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE MAY 25, 1993, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Human <br />Rights Commission - March 16, 1993; Economic Development Commission <br />- April 20 and May 4, 1993; Environmental Quality Commission - May 12, <br />1993; and Cable Advisory Board - March 23 and April 27, 1993. <br /> <br />Seecial Order of Business <br /> <br />The Chamber of Commerce made a generous donation which will be used <br />for the development of a brochure for new residents and developers. <br /> <br />Williams suggested that being the Chamber is a valuable informational <br />resource, staff should contact them for review of the brochure before it is <br />sent for printing. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Rebelein, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM NORTH <br />SUBURBAN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (CHAMBER OF COMMERCE). <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Seecial Order of <br />Business <br /> <br />Chamber Donation <br />Report 93-153 <br />Resolution 93-072 <br />
