<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, May <br />11, 1993, at 7:35 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />David Childs, City Manager <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br />Brian Olson, Engineering Aide <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Council Aaenda <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Benke, to APPROVE THE COUNCIL <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE AMENDED APRIL 27 AND 30, 1993, COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Economic <br />Development Commission - April 20, 1993; and Citizen Study Commission - <br />March 24, 1993. <br /> <br />80ecial Order of Business <br /> <br />CMS Corporation was selected by the New Brighton Chamber of Commerce <br />as New Brighton's 1993 Business of the Year. <br /> <br />Mayor Benke PROCLAIMED MAY 13, 1993, AS CMS DAY IN THE CITY OF <br />NEW BRIGHTON IN HONOR OF BEING SELECTED AS NEW BRIGHTON'S <br />BUSINESS OF THE YEAR. <br /> <br />Mayor Benke PROCLAIMED MAY 21, 1993, AS VFW BUDDY POppy DAY <br />IN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON. <br /> <br />Consent Aqenda <br /> <br />Gunderman requested C.W.
