<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, April <br />27, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: David Childs, City Manager <br />Jill Hansen, Economic Development Specialist <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />~ouncil Aaenda <br /> <br />The Metro East Partnership and Brightondale Estates Revenue Bonds were <br />added to Council Business agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Williams, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Aaenda <br /> <br />.council Minutes Council Minutes <br /> <br />Rebelein said the historic photograph which Julie Beisswenger presented to <br />the City is considered a permanent loan. The only condition under which it <br />would be returned to the Beisswenger Family would be if the City would no <br />longer display it at City Hall or any other safe or appropriate place. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Larson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE AMENDED APRIL 13, 1993, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Economic <br />Development Commission - March 3 and April 6, 1993; Environmental <br />Quality Commission - February 10 and March 10, 1993; Planning <br />Commission - February 16 and March 16, 1993. <br /> <br />Soecial Order of Business <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Rebelein, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION TO THE IRONDALE <br />BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION SEVENTH GRADE GIRLS TRAVELING TEAM. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />The 9th Annual Senior Citizen Prom will be held on May 6 at Bel Rae. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Soecial Order of <br />Business <br /> <br />Irondale Basketball <br />Report 93-110 <br />Resolution 93-056 <br /> <br />Senior Ball <br />
