<br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, <br />November 26, 1991, at 7:34 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: David Childs, City Manager <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Council Aoenda <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Larson, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA AND ADD ONE ITEM TO THE SPECIAL ORDER OF <br />BUSINESS SECTION, "WISH ROGER WILLIAMS A HAPPY BIRTHDAY". <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE NOVEMBER 12, 1991 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Citizen <br />Study Commission - October 23, 1991; Park Board - November 6, 1991; <br />Environmental Quality Commission. October 9, 1991; and Economic <br />Development Commission - September 26 and October 24, 1991. <br /> <br />Soedal Order of Business <br /> <br />Ron Finney, Jr., Troop 419, organized and headed a project to keep New <br />Brighton fire hydrants free of snow this winter, Council thanked Troop <br />419 for their tremendous efforts during the Halloween blizzard. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Larson, to RECOGNIZE THE EFFORTS <br />AND EXTEND SINCERE THANKS TO SCOUT TROOP 419 AND RON <br />FINNEY. JR.
