<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, <br />October 9, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Benke, Council members Brandt Rebelein, Gunderman, Larson, and Williams, <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: David Childs, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Anne Norris, Community Development Specialist <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Council Aqenda <br /> <br />Brandt Rebelein requested consideration of time change for the November <br />7th Special Council meeting be added to the Council Business agenda. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Larson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE AMENDED SEPTEMBER 11 AND SEPTEMBER 25, 1990, <br />COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />With Council consent, Benke received the minutes of the Environmental <br />Quality Commission - August 8, 1990; Planning Commission - August 21, <br />1990; and Economic Development Commission - August 16, 1990. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Marilyn Walhof, Antique Car Run President, recognized the New Brighton <br />Chamber, Tri-City Legion, Eagles, Lions, Risdall Agency, Going Places <br />Travel, Twin City Salvage, Micom, and the City of New Brighton for their <br />planning, funding, and organizing of the Fourth Annual Antique Car Run. <br /> <br />Council thanked the board, volunteers, and the drivers for their <br />tremendous efforts in making a successful event, <br /> <br />Gar; Evans, ISO #282 Board Member, said residents will vote on <br />November 6th for the ISO #282, $750,OOO/five year levy referendum. <br /> <br />Council Aqenda <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Commission <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Special Order of <br />Business <br /> <br />ACR Appreciation <br /> <br />#282 Levy <br />Referendum <br />
