Anders,~~~Yrector of Parks and Recreation <br />Re: November Meeting <br />T will be out of-town from Monday, October 25th - Friday,' <br />October 29th attending the NRPA Conference in Louisville, <br />Kentucky. As of this date there are no agenda items for <br />the November Park Board meeting. If you-have agenda items, <br />call them into our office or to Arly by noon Wednesday, <br />October 27th. If .there are no items for the agenda, it is <br />my recommendation that the November meeting be cancelled, <br />however the decision to cancel will. be made by Arly You <br />will be notified in either event. <br />O F I N T E R E S T <br />Meadow Wood <br />The grading plan is prepared, grading and topsoil application <br />will be completed this fall, weather permitting, <br />Long Lake <br />The E.Q.B. hearing will be held on November 18th. .Time and <br />location as yet undetermined. If you would like to attend, <br />contact me one week prior to-the 18th and I will furnish <br />details.. The E.Q.B.-staff is preparing a new set of.findings <br />that contradict the findings of the hearing examiner.. T have <br />not. seen the staff report beat it is "official" that they are <br />going to recommend "no E,I.S." The City Council is planning <br />to ~onsidex' a resolution transfering title of the: Long Lake <br />property on November 23rd, <br />Sunny Square P1ay.Area. <br />Most of the equipment is installed, with help from the Jaycees, <br />and some of the trees in the area have been planted. Left to <br />be done: reinstall fence, plant screening shrubs along fence, <br />install timbers and sand around equipment. We will complete <br />most of the work this fall, again weather permitting. In addition <br />to the play equipment, a picnic shelter has been installed in the <br />area. <br />
