New Brighton Park Board <br />1Vlinutes <br />December 7, 1994 <br />I. The meeting was called to order at 7:40pm by Chair Olson <br />II. Members present: Carlson, Eichers, Heinrich, Kinzie, Ocel, 01son, Sykes, <br />Trevorrow, Council Rep. Williams <br />Silver Oaks Residents were also present <br />Members absent: Knuth <br />III. Minutes of October 7, 1994 <br />Pazk Board had not yet received a copy of the minutes, no action taken. <br />1V. Correspondence <br />A. Council Report <br />Williams commented that the old downtown New Brighton is gone, it is <br />history. Rottlund Homes will start construction in the spring. They have 70 <br />units available and already have had 90 requests. <br />Many of the businesses that were in the old buildings are now relocated in the <br />new office buildings and are happy with their new location. <br />The storm water system now will be paid on a monthly basis instead of being <br />assessed. Schools and churches will pay their fair share. <br />Williams commented that the staff did a marvelous job giving explanations at <br />the truth and taxation meeting. <br />Eichers explained that he has already been assessed twice and now wondered if <br />this new system for payment of storm water would be a third assessment. <br />Williams said he did not know how that would work. <br />B. Multi City Senior Center <br />Anderson said the school and church are still negotiating. <br />
