<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTO~ <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was <br />held Tuesday, September 24, 1985, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth <br />Avenue NVI. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Harcus, Councilmembers Benke, Blomquist, Janecek, and Schmidt <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: Hem'y 5i nda, Ci ty Manager <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br />Jim Winkels, Community Development Director <br />Brenda Krueger, City Planner <br />Al Bauer, Fire Chief <br />Gary Berger, Administrative Assistant <br />Charles LeFevere, City Attorney <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Harcus asked that "blocks" on page two be corrected to "lots", <br />moved, seconded by Blomquist, to APPROVE THE MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER <br />10, 1985. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Harcus stated that Janecek had asked that Item VI-5 (Consideration <br />of resignation from Human Rights Commission - Report 85-270-A) be <br />moved to the end of the agenda and Krueger asked that Item VI-7 <br />(Consideration of setting a public hearing for October 8, 1985, at <br />7:35 p.m. for a minor sUbdivision,.Ed Taylor, Rush Lake Business <br />Park - Report 85-270-A) be combined with Item VIII-5 (Consideration <br />of a minor subidiv;sion. Ed Taylor, Rush Lake Business Park - Report <br />85-275) which ;s actually a continuation of a public hearing and <br />will be treated as such. As there were no other changes, Harcus <br />moved, seconded by Schmidt, to APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. CONSOLIDATED VOUCHERS - 075023-075088 and 074553-074730 <br /> <br />2. CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINANCING FOR THE LAKE <br />DIANE STORM SEWER. <br /> <br />3. CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION REAPPORTIONING ASSESSMENTS (59524). <br /> <br />4.
