<br />BUSINESS DISTRICTS
<br />8-010 B-1 LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT
<br />(a) In a Limited Business District, land shall be u!led and
<br />buildings, when constructed, altered, ex'tended and
<br />used, shall be designed for and~hall be used for one
<br />or more of the following specified USes:
<br />(11.1) All uses permitted in a Residential District.
<br />(a2) Government buildings and grounds.
<br />(a3) Office of studio Qf the following professional
<br />and service occupations and agencies:
<br />Accountant, architect, artist, broker, dentist,
<br />engineer, attorney, realtor, chiropractor, chiro-
<br />podist, osteopath, masseUl', and optometrist,
<br />secretal'ial agency, advertising agency, ,finance'
<br />agency, insurance agency, investment agency,
<br />travel agency, bonding agency, mortgage
<br />agency, shopping service and office.business
<br />machine agency.
<br />(a4) Parking lot, apartment-hotel, funeral home, l'a~
<br />dio and television studios.
<br />(a5) It shall be the policy of the Village Council to
<br />consider other uses not listed in this section.
<br />Permits for such other uses may be granted if,
<br />in the opinion of the Council, such use is lIot
<br />incompatible with other uses in this district.
<br />8-020 PERMIT'fED ACCESSORY USES
<br />(a) Business signs. See Sec. 14.
<br />8-030 NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT ~.2 .
<br />For the purpose of this section, a neighborhood business
<br />district is defined as a business district adjacent to or sur-
<br />rounded on at least three (3) sides by residence. districts
<br />in which such uses are pel'mitted as are normally required
<br />for the daily retail business needs of the residents of the
<br />locality only.
<br />8-040 PERMITTED USES
<br />Except as otherwise 'provided in this ordinance, all uses
<br />permitted in a B-1 district except multiple dwellings, _
<br />8-050 RETAIL BUSINESS FOR LOCAL OR NEIGHBORHOOD
<br />NEEDS TO THE FOLLOWING LIMITED EXTENT:
<br />(a) The sale and manufacture of baked goods; the sale
<br />of confectionery, dairy pl'oducts, delicatessen, fruits,
<br />vegetables, groceries and meats in permanent build-
<br />ings only.
<br />(b) The sale of dry goods and variety merchandise,
<br />(e) The sale of mens' and boys' furnishings, shoes, hat.!!,
<br />women's ready~to-wear, furs, millinery, apparel, ac.-
<br />cessories.
<br />(d) The sale of c"hina, floor covering, hardware, houae-
<br />hold applieances, radios and television sets, paint,
<br />wallpaper, materi'als and objects for interior decot'-
