It won't add to the salt burden as long as it is not maintained in the winter. Kannankutty said his patio is in a flood plane. He has flood insurance - he qualified for it. It is a concern. Carolyn Kreibich said water is a problem, had rising water on two occasions; a little more blacktop could bring it up again. Johnson said we could check with the Rice Creek Watershed District. Anderson said that a project of this size they probably won't work with but we will work with Les Proper, City Engineer. Could pond toward noise wall instead of into the lake. You may add 1/2 inch of water - a very small amount. We would reduce sedimentation because it would be maintained. Part of the process is to check with the Rice Creek Watershed District.
