The owner has found another location on his own. <br /> Midwest Asph' <br /> The trial date has been postponed until September, in order to provide time to consider the <br /> Supreme Court's ruling on a relevant Connecticut eminent domain case, expected in June. A <br /> formal mediation process is scheduled for May 17th; we hope that we can reach agreement <br /> through mediation and avoid the trial. <br /> Barr Engineering has completed a draft response action plan to remediate contamination on the <br /> Midwest site. The housing developers are reviewing the plan. It currently appears that the cost <br /> to clean up the area will be roughly $6 million dollars. When the contamination is completely <br /> cleaned up the City will then approach the County in regards to doing a land swap. <br />
