The <br /> applicant is proposing to expand visitor parking facilities by adding 12 stalls to the south-side <br /> parking lot. The proposal adds landscaping to the parking lot,the applicant has promised to <br /> adhere to lighting regulations, and the proposed construction abides by setback zoning code <br /> regulations. <br /> Howard inquired about the landscaping to the west of the new proposed parking lot and wondered <br /> if it would tie in with Brighton Village. Boylan responded that there are currently mature trees in <br /> that area. Baker added that Kraus-Anderson had proposed landscaping, a pond and walkways in <br /> that area. <br /> Motion by Schiferl, Second Howard by to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT <br /> THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION APPROVING LP05-09. <br /> 1. A lighting plan is submitted including light standard data to be approved by the City <br /> Planner. <br /> 4 Ayes 0 Nays, MOTION CARRIED. <br /> General Business: ZA05-10 CODE Amendment Proposal: Stormwater Control for <br /> Construction Sites <br /> Consideration of an amendment to Chapter 7 of the City Code. The Environmental Protection <br /> Agency(EPA) estimates that over 40%of the nation's water bodies are polluted. The EPA <br /> mandates that municipalities help prevent pollution and consequently,the City of New Brighton <br /> is charged with developing a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan(SWPPP) for all water that <br /> enters the City's stormwater system. The City is responsible for maintaining a National Pollution <br /> Discharge Elimination Systems(NPDES)permit.
