Page Three <br />The Honorable Mayor and City Council of New Brighton <br />March 2, 1977 <br />From the Land Use Plan revised on February 1, 1977, it appears that we <br />are a single piece of property, zoned "Heavy Industrial", tacked on to the <br />northern boundary of the Lane Use Plan which is otherwise zoned "General <br />Business". The addendum sheet for the plan (no date shown) states, "Land Use <br />Plan provides for continuation and expansion of UOP Johnson; no public action <br />is contemplated or proposed." <br />Johnson Division has always cooperated with the New Brighton City <br />Council and Planning Commission in the development of their property. Why <br />do you now choose to include us in a plan requiring government action when <br />no action is contemplated or proposed for our property? <br />Would you please reply in writing to each of the above questions by <br />March 18, 1977, and have the plan revised so that our properties do not fall <br />within the boundaries of the redevelopment area. <br />Sincerely, <br />Allen A.
