Theft <br />Individuals caught possessing items that do not belong to them will be charged with theft. The police will be called <br />and charges will be filed. Individuals may also be required to replace or return the stolen property. <br />• Customer Grievance <br />Any citizen issue/concern should be brought directly to FSC staff so that the staff can work with the citizen to <br />resolve the issue/concern. <br />Tobacco/Alcohol/Substance Use <br />The Family Service Center is a tobacco free facility. No smoking or use of smokeless tobacco is allowed. <br />Individuals under the age of 18 are forbidden from using tobacco on the facility grounds. An ashtray is located 30 <br />yards from the East entrance on the South East side of the bridge for extinguishing or use for those of legal age. <br />Exclusive to community room renters an ashtray is provided in the patio area. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed <br />in the facility or on the building grounds without a permit. The liquor policy will be issued to facility renters <br />requesting beverage services. "See Zero Tolerance Policy. <br />General FSC Rules <br />• Respect all FSC staff, patrons, and equipment. <br />• An approved wristband must be worn and visible at all times in designated areas. Individuals using <br />wristband areas must be a member or pay the appropriate fees. Individuals found not paying the <br />appropriate fees will be removed from the FSC and will not be given the option to pay and stay for the <br />remainder of the day. <br />• Individuals who are found wearing unapproved wristbands, including those that may be taped, <br />inappropriate color or otherwise tampered with will be asked to leave immediately and will not be given the <br />option to pay. No refunds will be issued. <br />• Food and beverages are only allowed in the lobby areas. <br />• No gum or glass containers allowed in building. <br />• No running; except on the track or in the gymnasium. <br />• Appropriate, respectful and courteous behavior is expected at all times. <br />• Youth 10 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults are responsible for <br />. the behavior, any damage or liability caused by the youth they are supervising. <br />• No drop in parties, gift opening, cake or cupcakes allowed in common areas. Rooms may be available to <br />rent, on request, for these party activities. <br />• No personal storage overnight in the lockers will be permitted in the building. <br />• Neither City of New Brighton, nor its personnel are responsible for items lost, stolen, or left on site. <br />• A photo ID is required to check out building equipment and a locker key at the front desk. Exchange of a <br />valuable for equipment/locker keys is not acceptable. <br />• Staff reserves the right to deny admission to anyone who is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol <br />or a controlled substance. <br />• Staff reserves the right to revoke facility use. <br />• Shirt and shoes required at all times. Dress code must be appropriate. Shorts/Pants must be worn at waist <br />at all times. If individual refuses to bring their shorts/pants to the waist, he/she will be removed from the <br />FSC without a refund. "Skins" will be allowed during organized or full-court games only. <br />• Staff shall have discretion to close, or control activity in the facility in case of a building emergency or <br />inclement weather. <br />• The patron has the financial obligation to replace balls, equipment or lockers that have been damaged, <br />stolen or lost. <br />• <br />2
