Council Proceedings <br />City of New Brighton <br />Jan 25, 1977 <br />Unfinished Business <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to receive <br />letter from MacGillis and Gibbs, dated Jan. 14, 1977. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Councilman Senden inquired as to where the fence <br />would be located. <br />Mr. Norgard, representing MacGillis and Gibbs, <br />stated the fence would be approximately 2.50-300 feet in <br />length and would be located north of the driveway. He <br />added that from where the fence ended •south along 5th <br />Avenue and also along First Street, 4 -foot pine or spruce <br />trees would be planted. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Fisher to amend <br />the resolution by providing that under the last <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Item 2, provide for a dustless <br />surface on the driveway from the street to the office <br />building and that the last BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Item 3, <br />provide for review after 3 years. <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Fisher to defer action <br />on the amended resolution to the first meeting in <br />February (Feb. 8) and request the applicant to <br />provide a landscape plan delineating the work to be <br />done as contained in the applicant's letter of Jan. <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />P" 2 <br />MacGillis & <br />Gibbs <br />Defer to <br />Feb. 8 <br />14, 1977. <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to receive <br />administrative report dated Jan. 19, 1977, re: SP -75, <br />Clark Pharmacy. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to <br />table action on SP -75 until later in the meeting. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Public Hearinqs <br />Assistant Attorney stated hearing was properly called. <br />The City Planner reviewed the planning report and <br />Planning Commission recommendations. <br />Carl Swenson, attorney for the applicant, was <br />present to answer Council questions. <br />Councilman Fisher asked what the applicant intended to do <br />with the property after it had been filled. Swenson <br />stated it would be developed with an industrial usageor' <br />Clark <br />Pharmacy SP -75 <br />VN -168 <br />Skiba-Herbst <br />8:32 to <br />9:10 <br />
