NW <br />from 16A Street to Hipps View Point <br />Addition (new plat, and improvement of street <br />leading to new plat) <br />Opening, grading, sanitary sewers, watermains, <br />storm sewers, concrete curb and gutter, Impr. <br />aggregate base and bituminous surfacing <br />All land abutting street in Hipp's View Point. <br />Addition and all land abutting 14th Ave. NW <br />from 16A Street to Hipp's View Point Addition. <br />Alternate 1: .$78,991.40 <br />Alternate 2: $36,690.33 <br />The City Engineer reviewed the proposed improvement. <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg to <br />receive letter from Robert Polzak <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Mr. Polzak reviewed the contents of the letter stating <br />that it represented the position of 10 of. the <br />affected property owners.. <br />Richard Hipp, developer of Hipp's View Point, stated <br />he'.would like to see a narrower road constructed <br />as it would be a benefit to the property. <br />Mrs. Irene Nalezny, 1681 14th Ave., stated she did not want <br />the .road in front of her house reconstructed and was opposed <br />to that portion of the improvement <br />~?a~ies Debee, 1672 14th Avenue, and Roger Wilson, new <br />owner in the area, stated that they agreed with Mr. Polzak's <br />position. <br />Motion by Werdauschegg, seconded by Hardt to close hearing <br />S ayes- 0 nayes - carried <br />Councilman Hardt asked what the condition of the existing <br />road surface was. <br />The City Engineer responded that it was in good shape. <br />Councilman Werdouschegg asked whether there had been <br />any utility problems in the area. <br />he City Engineer responded none beyond normal. <br />77-7 <br />i,etter- <br />Polzak <br />Close hearing <br />
