Council Proceedings 7 <br />City of New Brighton <br />Dec . 2 , 1976 r.,a~' <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Fisher to waive reading Impr 77-7 <br />of resolution and to adopt resolution entitled <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT 77-7 ALTERNATE 2, AND RESOLUTION <br />PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS NO, 1803 <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Werdauschegg, seconded by Hardt to direct <br />engineer in preparation of final plans and specifications <br />to design 24 foot roadway with concrete curbs and gutter <br />'through the Hipp View Point subdivision and then tapering <br />such new road to meet the existing road such section to <br />be without curbs. <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Plerdouschegg to direct <br />administration to prepare resolution making finding of fact <br />and determining that the 24 foot road was acceptable based <br />on the following reasons: Adm prepare <br />1. That it connects to an existing 20 foot road. Resolution <br />2. That the road will be constructed to serve only <br />6 lots located on a deadend. <br />3. That the geometry of a 32 foot wide road would <br />require additional area in the connection of the <br />new road to the existing road. <br />4. That property owners in the area expressed a strong <br />desire for the narrower road. <br />5. The waiver is permitted in accordance with the <br />New Brighton City Code. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Mayor Bromander declared a 5 minute recess.
