Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) <br />SRFC Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative (SS/HS) Connections Grant <br />Partners of Suburban Ramsey County <br />3. Develop, in cooperation with School and law enforcement, and local service <br />providers recommended strategies for how the school, SS/HS partnership and <br />community can better prevent juveniles from committing status offenses. Use case <br />studies to aid practitioners in applying practical and timely strategies for early <br />detection and intervention. <br />4. Provide expertise and planning guidance regarding access to child protective service <br />process, school -to -county linked services and available county services in each <br />district. <br />5. Collaborate with school and community partners to develop strategies for providing <br />support and services to youth returning to school from out of home placement. <br />THE CONSORTIUM OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN SUBURBAN RAMSEY COUNTY <br />SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS AGREES TO: <br />1. Designate school staff at all levels to implement initiatives of the SS/HS <br />communitywide plan. <br />2. Designate the contact person to be responsible for receiving information and <br />informing all parties as the Superintendent's designee. <br />3. Provide space for school/county-linked integrated mental health and community <br />social worker services on-site and meeting spaces for school -linked personnel, when <br />needed. <br />4. Provide access for Resource Officers and work with SRFC-SS/HS Initiative partners <br />in the delivery of law enforcement -and corrections/probation related prevention <br />activities. <br />5. Collaborate with SRFC-SS/HS Initiative partners in policy study and school <br />assessment as outlined in this proposal. <br />6. Collaborate with school and community partners to develop strategies for providing <br />support and services to youth returning to school from out of home placement. <br />EACH LAW ENFORCEMENT CHIEF [OR SHERIFF] AGREES TO: <br />1. Notify the Superintendent, or designee, as the law indicates, of the name and address <br />of any student or employee of the school district who is charged with a felony or <br />misdemeanor. <br />2. Work with SRFC-SS/HS partners in the delivery of law enforcement -related <br />prevention and early intervention activities. <br />3. Participate in safe school initiatives to include safety assessments, crisis response <br />efforts and technical assistance to implement school safety improvements. <br />THE COUNTYATTORNEYAGREES TO: <br />1. Engage in Truancy Intervention Program (TIP) training across the four district <br />consortium to insure appropriate and consistent use of the TIP program, policies and <br />procedures. <br />THE LOCAL MENTAL HEAL TH A GENCIES AGREE TO: <br />1.
