Director <br />Jacobson reported there had been a traffic accident at that location. <br />11 <br />Motion by Councilmember Phillips, seconded b Councilmember Doffing to approve the resolution <br />establishing railroad crossing policies. <br />4 Ayes— 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />4. Consideration ofAppointments to Municipal Advisory Commissions. <br />City Manager Dean Lotter reported that Council has been discussing at length the process associated <br />with appointments to advisory connrrissions. The Council extended terms of expiring commissioners <br />from January 31 to March 31, 2008. Attendance records were reviewed and those commissioners <br />missing fors or more meetings were removed from their positions. Additionally council determined <br />that commission shall have.. 7 members. Any commissions with more than 7 commissioners will <br />remain until the next term ends. Councilmember Doffing reported that council awes on the <br />importance of attendance at commission meetings, and absences need to be addressed as they occur. <br />Motion by Councilmember Phillips, seconded by Councilmember Doffing to remove the four <br />Commission Members who have.. missed four or more meetings in 2007.
