Resolution No. 08-030 <br />Councilmember Bauman requested an explanation of the item. <br />Director Jacobson explained this grant is for four school districts, including the Mounds View District <br />621. Programs will be implemented to assist in the reduction ofviolence in addition to alcohol, drug <br />and tobacco resistance. There is no costto the City, Officer McNealy is alreadypaid through the <br />School District. When the funding is exhausted, the program will end. Councilmember Bauman <br />commented on the benefit oftaking aproactive approach. <br />Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to approve the agreement <br />for the Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative Safe Schools Healthy Students (SS/HS) Connections <br />• Grant. <br />4 Ayes —0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />5.
