That the New Brighton Planning Commission did, at <br /> a regular meeting thereof held on October 15, 1974, <br /> consider application Sf-57. That at such meeting, <br /> the applicants and all other persons wishing to be <br /> heard, were given full opportunity to present <br /> evidence and arguments concerning such application. <br /> e. That the Planning Commission did recommend denial <br /> of application Sp-57. <br /> f. That ~ public hearing on such application was duly <br /> scheduled before the City Council, and mailed and <br /> published notice of such hearing was properly made. <br /> g. That pursuant to the mailed and published notice, <br /> a public hearing was held by the New Brighton City <br /> Council on November 12,1974 to: consider the <br /> application SP-57. <br /> h. That at the hearing held on November 12, 1974 the <br /> following were presented to and considered by the <br /> city Council in respect to the application SP-57: <br /> 1. Oral and documentary evidence and arguments of i <br /> the applicants, its representatives and all <br /> persons wishing to be heardi <br /> 2. The minutes and recommendations of the New <br /> Brighton Planning Commission relating to <br /> i Application SP-57i : <br /> i <br /> I <br /> 3. The observations, considerations and comments <br /> of the City Planning and Building Coordinatori <br /> 4. The apparent approval of such proposal by the I <br /> Federal Aviation AgencYi <br /> 5. A letter in opposition to the proposal from the <br /> State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety; <br /> Highway Patrol Division. <br /> 2. Findinqs of Fact <br /> a. That the application is one to permit the construct.. <br /> ion of two radio towers, one 250 feet high and one <br /> 567 feet high, plus a small building for transmis- <br /> sion equipment. That the ~ transmission would be <br /> at a power of 1000 watts, iater to be increased to <br /> 5000 watts. That the.FM transmission would be at <br /> 100,000 watts. That it is proposed, if possible, <br /> to increase the height of the proposed 567 foot <br /> tower to a height of 700 feet. The facilities <br /> would be located in the northwest quadrant of the <br /> intersection of freeways I-35W and I-694 and in I <br /> proximity to each of said freeways and their clover- I <br /> leaf interchange. The present zoning of the propos~~d <br /> site is I-l Light Industrial. . <br />
