<br /> . <br />. . <br /> , <br />~ <br /> -2- <br />. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the application SP-75 is <br />hereby approved and the following are adopted as regulations <br />governing signs at 854 5th Avenue NW: <br />1. At such time as the existing Clark Pharmacy sign may <br /> be replaced with a new sign, the new sign shall be no <br /> more than 4811 in height and 16' in length, shall contain <br /> a maximum of 5 items of information and shall be mounted on <br /> the face of the canopy in signable area a. as shown on the <br /> attached sign plan drawing. <br />2. The existing 1611 x 161 "Brighton Cleaners" sign shall be <br /> permitted to remain until replaced, at which time the <br /> sign that may be erected shall be no more than 4811 x 161 <br /> and shall be compatible with the existing Clark Pharmacy <br /> Sign. If erected, the new sign shall contain a maximum <br /> of 5 items of information and shall be located within <br /> area b. as shown on the attached sign plan drawing. <br />3. A 4811 X 11~1 wall mounted sign shall be permitted in <br /> area c. as shown on the sign plan drawing attached hereto. <br /> Such sign shall be limited to a maximum of 5 items of <br /> information. <br />4. Within 3 years, or when the existing Brighton Cleaners <br /> canopy sign is replaced by another sign, whichever occurs <br /> first, the canopy face shall be enlarged to a maximum <br /> size as shown on the attached sign plan drawing and any <br /> signs on the canopy prior to such enlargement shall be <br /> remounted on the enlarged canopy in the areas designated <br /> in this Resolution. The highest point of the enlarged <br /> canopy shall not be higher than the lower edge of the <br /> second story windows. The property owner shall have the <br /> option to at any time remove the building canopy and <br /> mount canopy signs on the building wall within the <br /> same areas outlined on the sign plan drawing as being <br /> signable areas on the canopy. <br />5. All new or modified wall or canopy signs shall not exceed <br /> the vertical height as the Clark Pharmacy canopy sign. <br />6. The existing."D:r:. p.G~ Spencer, Optometristll wall sign <br /> located above the upper windows of the building shall be <br /> removed. <br />7. Window signs in conformance with Sections 14-150 and l4-l6D <br /> of the .New Brighton Zoning Code shall be permitted. <br />8. Up to a sixty-four (64) square foot ground sign shall be <br /> permitted, however, such sign may identify only the buildi:i1g <br /> and shall be subject to setback and height requirements <br /> as contained in the Zoning Code. The existing ground sign <br /> shall be made to conform to the requirements of this <br /> paragraph within six (6) months of the date of adoption I <br /> of this resolution. ! <br />
