Consulting Firms: <br />+ Shall commit to the principles of the Professional Code of Ethics for their profession; <br />+ May contact only designated New Brighton City staff; <br />• Will not represent any individual or corporation involved in litigation against the City of New <br />Brighton. <br />Section 4. Procedure <br />1. The City Manager or designated staff will invite firms to submit proposals for providing <br />professional services to the City of New Brighton. The proposals shall include the following: <br />• Description of Firm <br />+ Technical Qualifications <br />+ Work Experience <br />+ Prior City Experience <br />• References <br />+ Fee Schedule for all Personnel <br />+ Other Items that may be deemed appropriate by the City <br />2. If necessary, the City Manager will appoint a selection committee that will interview the <br />interested firms. The selection committee will submit a written recommendation to the City <br />Council explaining why they recommend that a particular professional service organization <br />be retained by the City of New Brighton. A proposed contract will be included in the written <br />recommendation that is being submitted to the City Council. <br />3. The City Manager will recommend the most qualified firm to the City Council for approval <br />at a regular City Council meeting. <br />is <br />4. The City Council must approve the recommended professional service contract at a regular <br />City Council meeting. <br />Section 5.
