<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />June 22, 1982 <br /> <br />The City Planner noted that parking for the <br />site was calculated on the basis of an office <br />building which would still be the most likely <br />re-use of the property should the attorneys <br />decide to leave. <br /> <br />Councilmember Benke asked what the conference <br />room was proposed to be used for. <br /> <br />The City Planner stated that the applicants <br />had indicated that the primary use of the conference <br />room would be for attorney/client conferences. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Harcus to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION MAKING <br />FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR <br />VARIANCE, VN-224 and to approve LP-126 contingent <br />on the following: <br /> <br />li <br /> <br />1. That final grading and drainage plans be approved <br />by the Rice Creek Watershed District and City Engineer; <br />2. That the applicant conform with VN-224 and site and <br />landscape plans dated and signed by the applicant <br />and City Planner. <br /> <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />No one was present to discuss the application <br />for SP-I04. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS <br />OF FACT AND DENYING APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE <br />PERMIT, SP-I04. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blom~uist, seconded by Benke to direct <br />staff to prepare the necessary ordinance to respond <br />to the State legislated definition change of <br />mobile homes/manufactured homes. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to <br />authorize the advertisement for bids for street <br />seal coating and concrete curb repairs with <br />bids to be opened July 9, 1982 and considered <br />by Council on July 13, 1982. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING AGREEMENT AND ADDITION OF SECURITIES <br />ASSIGNED TO CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON PUBLIC DEPOSITORY. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br />SP-I04, Sgt.
