The Engineer <br />noted that Mr. Mason could call City Hall and the <br />Engineering Department could provide him with his <br />individual assessment amount. <br /> <br />Harold Becker, representing Becker's Carpet Service, <br />questioned what alternatives property owners would <br />have regarding the assessments and where the funds <br />would come from if property owners did not pay their <br />assessment. <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus replied that funds, if not from assessments, <br />would come from the general City tax levy and that the <br />purpose of the hearing was to give the public an opportunity <br />to question the size of the assessment. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist to close the hearing. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt to waive the reading <br />and adopt a RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON OLD HIGHWAY #8 <br />STORM SEWER, PROJECT 78-7. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to waive the <br />reading and adopt A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM <br />UTILITY FUND RESERVE TO IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #78-7. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />-3- <br />
