<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />city of New Brighton <br />August 25, 1981 <br /> <br />that while he had no executed option or <br />purchase agreement, he did have a verbal <br />agreement with that property owner <br />regarding purchase and a price of that <br />property if the current proposal is <br />approved and subsequently proves to <br />be successful. <br /> <br />Mr. Jerry Schlegel, Brighton Square resident, <br />stated he had concerns for this development <br />for possible traffic increases on Silver Lake Road. <br />Mr. Schlagal stated he hoped the Council would <br />consider the traffic problems in the area prior <br />to the approval of this proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Allen Smith, 2851 Innsbruck Drive, questioned <br />where the additional property to the south was <br />located. <br /> <br />The Mayor replied that the property to the south <br />that has been referred to is the property that <br />lies west of Silver Lake Road, north of Innsbruck Drive, <br />north of Minnesota Federal, and immediately south of <br />the project currently under consideration. <br /> <br />Mr. Don Erickson, 3041 13A Street, questioned <br />what the procedure was for approval and where <br />within the entire process this application stood. <br /> <br />The city Planner reviewed the process noting <br />that this was a public hearing for a preliminary <br />PRD and plat and that following any acceptance <br />of the preliminary plans, final approval and <br />consideration would be necessary from the <br />Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Greg Johnson, 2915 lnnsbruck Drive, questioned <br />the current zoning of the property. <br /> <br />The Mayor replied that the property is currently <br />zoned R-I, Single Family and that the proposal <br />was to rezone the property to an R-2, Two Family <br />zoning classification. <br /> <br />Mr. Keith Harstad, 1235 Karth Lake Drive, <br />developer of the Innsbruck North development, <br />reviewed the conditions which were presented <br />at the time he platted the Innsbruck North <br />addition and he stated that he had been assured <br />by a previous Council that only single family <br />homes would be developed adjacent to his development. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
