-2 - Burg stated that last year the Council hired Risdall Advertising to help us with branding of the Northwest Quadrant. Larkspur, New Gate and Infinity were three names they came up with. None of the names stood out so they are having a contest for residents starting at the Town Hall meeting. There is going to be a contest to name the area. We would like to have something that identifies the area. Strub inquired about the resolution discussed last month and submitted to the City Council. Burg stated it was tabled. It was to be on the agenda for a future work session, Burg believes someone from the City did attend the meeting on the 14`h. Strab inquired of Norton if he would be willing to speak to the Mayor and just make some clarifications about the intent of our resolution. Norton stated he could start with an e-mail. He is open to all forms of communication. Frischman commented that if meeting with the Mayor was not an option, was there a way we could present this to the Council. She inquired how can we get our voice heard? Breuer suggested getting the resolution back on the Council work session as a way for that to happen. Breuer stated she can contact the City Manager to see if that • can happen. Burg stated she will e-mail Dean Lotter to have the resolution put on the work session agenda. Breuer stated that if it is on a work session agenda, members of the public are welcome. Norton stated he would also send an e-mail to the Mayor. VI. Public Hearing A. None Scheduled VII. Chair Updates Norton mentioned the Town Hall meeting that will be from 8am — Noon on May 22°d Everyone encouraged to come. B. Department Happenings / upcoming events Breuer stated we have changed venues. Office Assistant, Jodelle Olson is not present. She may not be attending all meetings. She will continue to do the minutes.
