If that is not acceptable <br />to the applicant; notice should be given to the applicant that a hearing will be held to consider non renewal of the <br />license. LeFevere stated anything included in the mitigation plan, should aid in the reduction of calls for service. <br />Mayor Jacobsen questioned if the cost of the provisional license is covering the expense of the City. Public <br />Safety Staffreported it was not. Renewal of Provisional Multi Family License for Emerald Court Apartments. Report No. 10-237. <br />Officer Hamdorf reviewed the ordinance, and reported the calls for service are on the decrease. Recycling Proposals and Staff Recommendation. 10-23 8. <br />City Manager Lotter introduced the item, stating this had been discussed at the earlier worksession. <br />Code Enforcement Officer Joe Hatch reported we are in the final year of a two year contract with Waste <br />Management at a rate of $1.89/month per resident. Staffwas directed to obtain an RFP for single sort <br />recycling, two were received. Staff recommendation was to contract with Allied Waste (option 1) due to the <br />low cost; $2.49/month per household for three years. <br />Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to approve the resolution <br />authorizing the City Manager and Mayor to execute a contract with Allied Waste Systems for single <br />stream recycling to begin in 2011 reflective of the proposal, option number 1. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />
