LeFevere stated anything included in the mitigation plan, should aid in the reduction of calls for service. Mayor Jacobsen questioned if the cost of the provisional license is covering the expense of the City. Public Safety Staffreported it was not. Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councilmember Burg to approve the mitigation plan for multiple dwelling license for the property at Silver Lake Flats located at 2190-2160 W County Rd E with the provision that information will be provided from the owner regarding rental unit occupancy on a monthly basis. Recycling Proposals and Staff Recommendation. 10-23 8. City Manager Lotter introduced the item, stating this had been discussed at the earlier worksession. Code Enforcement Officer Joe Hatch reported we are in the final year of a two year contract with Waste Management at a rate of $1.89/month per resident. Staffwas directed to obtain an RFP for single sort recycling, two were received. Staff recommendation was to contract with Allied Waste (option 1) due to the low cost; $2.49/month per household for three years. Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to approve the resolution authorizing the City Manager and Mayor to execute a contract with Allied Waste Systems for single stream recycling to begin in 2011 reflective of the proposal, option number 1. 5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried
