Frischman commented that she wants it to be known in a respectful <br /> manner that when it is time for the work on the Hwy 96 and 35W <br /> bridge, that New Brighton wants to see a pedestrian/bike access <br /> across the 35W bridge from the Shoreview/Arden Hills side, into <br /> New Brighton so that it can connect with all the New Brighton <br /> trails. Mark Lindeberg stated that is good. Ramsey County has <br /> already stated to MNDOT that they want to see a new bridge (not <br /> just the bridge deck)because they want to see that trail connection <br /> as well. <br /> Councilmember Jacobsen stated that Grant Wyffels, Public Works <br /> Director, is the one that provides information to Ramsey County. <br /> V. Announcements <br /> A. Commission Reports on Parks <br /> Nguyen: Freedom <br /> Garbage— Softball Games—Trail on outside of field <br /> Fields: Hidden Oaks <br /> Tennis courts have been resurfaced. Dead tree has been removed. <br /> A few bare spots on soccer field. Netting on soccer field is not <br /> connected on the bottom. <br /> Fields: Hansen <br /> It looks good. Tennis courts look great. One of the nets not <br /> connected on the outside corners. Frisbee golf group put in new <br /> concrete tee pads. <br /> Wolla stated there is a certain kind of gravel they can use around <br /> the tee pads that will help prevent washouts and indents. The group <br /> also helped with the retaining wall that helps the erosion. Wolla <br /> explained that this group calls themselves Friends of Hansen Park. <br /> They are disc golf players and they have raised money to help with <br /> 2 <br />
