Review Park Related Projects in 2012 — Grant Wyffels, Director of <br /> Public Works and Craig Schlichting, Civil Engineer II <br /> • Pavement Management Program <br /> o Re-surfaced and painted the tennis courts <br /> o Meadow Wood Park Hard Court <br /> o Driftwood East Parking Lot <br /> o Hansen Park East Parking Lot west end <br /> o City Hall Parking Lot <br /> o Veterans Pond Dredging <br /> o Veterans Park Trail — worked with scouts <br /> • Old Highway 8 NW Sidewalk/Trail <br /> o Multi-Use trail from Hwy 96 to 1st Ave to Old Hwy. 8 (on east) <br /> o Concrete Sidewalk along 1st Ave to 14th Street <br /> o Sidewalk in front of New Brighton Community Center <br /> • New Brighton Exchange City Improvements <br /> o Overlay from API entrance north and then back out to Old <br /> Hwy 8. API did an 8 ft. sidewalk in front of their property and <br /> fine-tuned grading. The City completed the half dome area <br /> and the bituminous trail <br /> o Landscape items in front of The View done by API <br /> o The City did half circle pedestrian area as part of our <br /> contract <br /> • Freedom Park Flood Mitigation <br /> o Improvements made to help alleviate flooding in the park <br /> (behind the softball field) and resident yards and basements <br /> - 1 - <br />
